Life Path numbers, and what each one means
A Life Path number is the single number your full birth date reduces to in Pythagorean numerology. There are twelve possible results: 1 to 9, plus the master numbers 11, 22 and 33, which are never reduced. The arithmetic
How to calculate your Life Path number
- Write the birth date as month, day and four-digit year.
- Reduce each part on its own by adding its digits until one digit is left. Stop early at 11, 22 or 33.
- Add the three reduced parts together.
- Reduce that total the same way. The result is the Life Path number.

Master numbers
Life Path 11, 22 and 33
When a step of the calculation lands on 11, 22 or 33, Soulmath stops reducing. These are the master numbers, read as a more intense version of the digit underneath: 11 over 2, 22 over 4 and 33 over 6. They get their own guides because the friendship patterns are not the same as the single digit’s.
